Got the first bit of work experience yesterday, after the long break in between from the NKF business project.
I learnt three valuable things.
1)Work makes you bushed, dead on your feet, tired, exhausted, etc, etc, whatever word used to describe tiredness.
2)Lack of manpower is a SCARY thing.
3)I must definitely find a job I like next time, and if I can't, at least one with a BIG, FAT PAYCHECK.
See, we had to first put the measuring jugs into plastic bags and staple them, making sure each class had thirty, before dumping them into black trash bags. The lack of manpower was frightening; Ms O, JY and me agaisnt 360 measuring jugs.
After we finished that, we had to do the cups, which made the jugs look like ABC.
The cups had to be put into each other, in order of size(E,D,C,A), put into plastic bags, stapled, counted, and dumped into the trash bags. SO, it was three people agaisnt 360 x 4 = 1440 CUPS!!!
SO, job distribution. I put the cups into each other and into the plastic bags while JY and Ms O stapled. Next, JY opened the trash bags and I threw the wrapped cups in. Basketball practice XDD.
The worst thing was soon to come. JY had to leave. So it was Ms O and me. Agaisnt the remaining cups. Sigh. As we finished, Lindsay was at the door, I let her in, and she helped me count the remaining stapled packages.
She worked for four minutes, I worked for four HOURS, but we got the same pay, namely a dollar to buy fries. Oh and Ms O owes us a treat...
And my knee injury has returned... in full force.
