they say you don't appreciate something until you lose it.
i say you don't realize it's worth till it leaves a gaping abyss of a void.
amounts to the same thing, doesn't it?
they say you want something because you can't have it.
i say you want something, and when you get it, you realize it's worth isn't what you thought it was.
still amounts to the same thing, doesn't it?
human nature. is stupid.
shocks don't come the second you lose something.
they come when you finally realize you've lost something.
having a reflective moment here... sound familiar? no? if not, think march 28 - 3o; & june 14 -17...
memories are useless things. they don't do you any good.
what do they do? they bring up thoughts of a past that is long gone.
irreversible.
you won't be able to change it, you won't be able to go back to it.
you made a mistake.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

you'll continue thinking about the things that you could have done...
should have done...
hope to go back to...
a big load of rubbish.
and you'll wish you had appreciated every moment of the wonderful time when whatever had been going on...
wishing time would turn back...
but if time could be turned backwards, would you know the value of what's happening, before it's all over?
of course not.
to heed my own advice.
i'm starting to delete a few documents.
no, i'm not
